Honey and Banana Puff Pastry Rolls

Prep Time , Cook Time , Serves 4.

Ingredients

  • 4 Bananas
  • 3 sheets puff pastry
  • Taylor Pass honey (we’ve used Manuka Blend)
  • 1 beaten egg for egg wash

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
  2. Peel the bananas and cut the pastry into thick strips.
  3. Cut the bananas in half lengthways. Take a knife and carve a thin channel into each side. Do not go all the way to either end.
  4. Fill this channel with honey.
  5. Place the banana back together and wrap the pastry around the banana without leaving gaps. Complete this process with all the bananas.
  6. Place on a lined baking tray and brush with the egg wash.
  7. Bake for approximately 25 minutes until golden.
  8. Drizzle with honey while still warm, just before serving.
